An unihabited volchanic island in the Fire Nation. It hosts a shrine to Avatar Roku

Ember Island is an island resort in the outer Fire Nation. It's home to several resots and the vacation homes for the rich and famous in the Fire Nation

This village is rather small and poor. It floats on the Jang Hui river

A small Fire Nation island which bore and was home to the previous Avatar Roku. Over 100 years ago, it was home to a prosperous village.

Shu Jing is a town located in the Fire Nation. Situated on a cliff above a river and waterfalls, and surrounded by beautiful mountains, this is one of the many small, peaceful villages that are tucked away throughout the Fire Nation islands.

Chin Village is a small town located on the cliffs of the Earth Kingdom's southwestern coast.

Also known simply as The Swamp, this vast, mysterious wetland covers a very large area of the southwest Earth Kingdom. Both the flora and fauna of the swamp are densely packed and home to a variety of creatures including the glowing fly, elbow leech, blood sucking insects, screeching birds, and the catgator, a cross between a catfish and an alligator. Waterbenders also dwell within the swamp, as their ancestors migrated from the Southern Tribe thousands of years ago and called the swamps home due the large amount of water it contained.

Full Moon Bay is a secluded cove in the Eastern Lake, located just south of Ba Sing Se. It is the location of a hidden ferry station that refugees from all over the southern portion of the earth kingdom come to on their way to Ba Sing Se.

Gaoling is a large town located within a mountain range in the southern Earth Kingdom. Gaoling was home to both the wealthy Bei Fong family and the Earth Rumble tournaments. An old, well-established city, Gaoling has a spectrum of people residing in it, ranging from the very rich to the very poor.
The town was untouched by the war, due to it not being in a particularly strategic location. This is evidenced by the attitude of many of its residents.

The Great Divide is the largest canyon in the world. It is located in the rocky regions of the central Earth Kingdom.

The River Village is located in the Western Earth Kingdom, and situated between the forks of a large river. It serves as a regional trading hub and ideal location for merchants to sell their wares.

Kyoshi Island is a small island off the southern coast of the Earth Kingdom, dotted with many small villages. It is famous as the birthplace of Avatar Kyoshi. The island is the home of the elite Kyoshi Warriors.
The island was created when Chin the Conqueror threatened it. Avatar Kyoshi separated Kyoshi Peninsula from the Earth Kingdom mainland to keep her people safe from future threats.

Makapu Village is a small farming town located in the northwestern Earth Kingdom on the slopes of the dormant Mt. Makapu. It is notable for being the place of residence of many famous fortunetellers.

Omashu is the second largest city in the Earth Kingdom and the capital of one of its provinces. Only Ba Sing Se, the titanic capital of the Earth Kingdom, is larger. It was one of the last great strongholds of the Earth Kingdom and a supplier of men and weaponry before its fall in the months before the end of the war.
Omashu is located in the Kolau Mountain Range in the southwestern Earth Kingdom. The city is built on a number of hills, and is surrounded by a wide gorge. Omashu is heavily fortified.

The Plains Village is a remote town located in the southern Earth Kingdom

The Serpent's Pass is a narrow strip of land between two large lakes that links the western and eastern halves of the Earth Kingdom, and is one of the very few direct paths to the capital, Ba Sing Se. It is named after the serpent which guards it, which makes the pass feared in the Earth Kingdom. Most refugees refuse to use the pass and instead cross the lake by boat.

Song's Village is located in the Western Earth Kingdom and has not been occupied by the Fire Nation.

Senlin Village is a small farming village located in the center of a dense forest in the western Earth Kingdom. In the past it was attacked by a spirit, Hei Bai.

The Si Wong Desert is the largest desert in the world. It is known as the driest and hottest place in the world, and is almost impossible to successfully navigate. It is sparsely inhabited by Sandbender tribes.

Wan Shi Tong's Library was an immense library buried within the Si Wong Desert.

The Healing Huts are small classroom-like structures. In these, an experienced healer teaches the young, female students how to use their healing abilities properly, with mannequins with human chi paths carved into them.

The Spirit Oasis is a verdant garden located in a cave in the Northern Water Tribe's capital city at the North Pole. Although the land outside is perpetually frozen, the Spirit Oasis itself is warm. It is a place where the Spirit World overlaps with the mortal world. It's known to be one of the most peaceful places in the bending world.

A location within the Northern Water Tribe where the young men come to gather supplies for hunting and training.

These interconnecting ice caverns are located underneath the city and were naturally created by the ocean water eroding away the ice. Seals and other animals live in these ice caverns and the only way to get to them is to swim underneath the freezing water.

The Eastern Air Temple is one of the four temples of the Air Nomads, and one of the two, the other being the Western Air Temple, exclusively housing female Airbenders.
